5–12 September 2026

Reach every institution in the district, for the right reason.

EndTheCancer 2026 runs a cancer-awareness competition through educational institutions across all 12 taluks of Uttara Kannada. Students in classes 8 to 10, PU, and degree colleges take part. District officials notify institutions; participation is opt-in.

EndTheCancer 2026 is being prepared in collaboration with the District Health and Family Welfare Office, Uttara Kannada, and district and taluk health and NCD teams for high school, PU and degree students across the district from 5 to 12 September 2026. District and taluk health members help prepare the questions, verify awareness content, and review competition rules and regulations before the information pack reaches institutions. Ref. DSU/IDSP/2026-27, 17 August 2026.

One network, across a district that would take a year to cover alone.

Uttara Kannada spans 10,277 sq km and 1,289 villages, from 140 km of coastline into forest and interior communities. The institution network turns that dispersed geography into a single coordinated campaign, so a partner reaches it without building any local operation.

Who this works for

Coaching institutes

Students in classes 8 to 10 choose a PU college within a year or two, and PU students choose entrance coaching. This puts you in front of both, across the district, in the same term they decide.

PU and degree colleges

You are recruiting from exactly the classes taking part. Being visibly behind a district programme reaches those students and their parents at once.

Learning and technology products

Quiz platforms, learning apps and AI study tools fit the format directly, and a subscription makes a prize students actually want.

Local businesses

Bookshops, stationers, uniform and optical shops reach the same families. A single taluk is an affordable place to start.

Ways to partner

Everything below is something the programme produces anyway, so you are backing delivery rather than overhead. Scale and terms are agreed directly, and nothing is priced on this page.

Scholarships and seats for winners

District winners, announced on 12 September

Offer a free or discounted seat, a scholarship, or a course subscription to the students who win their category. The prize is real, the association is public, and no student contact details ever change hands.

The highest-volume item the campaign produces. Every entrant receives one, most keep it, and many show it at home. Your name sits alongside the campaign on each.

What partnership does not include

These limits are the reason the programme is worth being associated with, so they hold at every level.

  • Student data never leaves the campaign

No names, phone numbers, email addresses or entry details are shared with any partner, at any tier. Partners receive counts and outcomes, never contact lists.

  • The health content stays independent

Cancer awareness material follows guidance from the Taluka Health Officer, Kumta, and carries no sponsor branding. Your name appears on the competition, not inside the medical content.

  • Nothing is sold to students

No partner may market to participants during the programme, and no student is required to sign up for anything to take part.

  • Under-18 participation is protected

Where a minor appears in anything published, guardian consent is obtained first. Partner association never overrides that.

Support we do not accept

No support is accepted from tobacco, gutka, pan masala, areca-linked or alcohol-linked sources, in any form, at any level.

Start a conversation

Write to the campaign inbox, or use the form. Nothing is agreed until you have spoken to a named person, and the second address reaches one directly.

EndTheCancer does not run public fundraising and collects no money from the public or through this website. Support comes from organisations, agreed directly between them and the foundation.
