These are not competitions bolted onto an awareness event. Students learn the material first, then compete on it, then carry it home. The round is how the message sticks.

Content scope differs by age. High school stays close to oral cancer and tobacco on health guidance; PU and degree cover broader awareness.
Oral cancer and tobacco
Following guidance from the Taluka Health Officer, Kumta, high school material stays close to oral cancer, tobacco and gutka risk, and simple prevention. Breast and cervical cancer appear only at a basic, age-appropriate level.

Cancer awareness quiz
Written round conducted inside the institution.
Covers the awareness material shared with the institution in advance. Objective scoring, quick to evaluate.
Interactive cancer awareness challenge
A hands-on round the whole class can take part in.
Simple activities such as matching, word searches, arranging awareness messages correctly, spotting healthy and unhealthy habits, and short fill-in-the-blank tasks. Designed so many students can take part at once and scoring stays objective.
Materials are available in Kannada, with an English version for institutions that prefer it. Each school uses one language across its awareness material, quiz paper and challenge sheet.
Every category is built from the awareness material each institution receives in advance. Taking part is how the awareness lands, so nothing depends on outside coaching.

Institution rounds
Each institution runs its own preliminary rounds using a common format and clear instructions.

Qualification stage
Final competition and qualification for the categories where it applies.
Step 4 · 12 September 2026
Final public programme
Competition culmination, selected reels, recognition and awards, and an expert-led cancer awareness session for a wider audience.
