Where the programme stands

We mark each step at its real status. Nothing below is presented as complete before it is.

  1. Framework shaped with health guidance

    Done

    Built following discussion with the Taluka Health Officer, Kumta, who advised on age-appropriate cancer content, question scope and student activities.

  2. District health collaboration

    Done

    The District Health and Family Welfare Office, Uttara Kannada, and district and taluk health and NCD members are helping prepare questions, verify awareness content, and review competition rules and regulations.

  3. Institutions notified

    Done

    Initial notices have been sent through DDPI, DDPU and relevant education routes. The full information pack will follow soon.

  4. Information packs follow

    Next step

    Every participating institution will receive the full pack before anything is conducted: scope, format, dates, scoring and rules.

  5. Institution rounds

    Conducted inside each institution, 7–8 September.

  6. Final programme

    12 September, including the expert-led awareness session.

Competition culmination, selected reels, recognition and awards, and an expert-led cancer awareness session for a wider audience.
